Method for using the site: Students

Modified on Tue, 24 Jun at 7:41 AM

  1. The student will use a scanner bar, smartphone pic, or printer scanner scan in pic of his handwritten class notes for the day, and everyone in the group puts them in the Sharing Folder.  Then they open the folder, and look at each others' work, and can each write up a custom-to-them final notes doc of what they may have missed in type on the site with the Split Screen function, with the scanned notes on the left, and their new doc on the right, and put that doc on the right in a special folder, for their Final Notes docs.  This helps them learn, and get all of the information they may have missed in a fast-paced class, so they can answer their homework, and know all the details of class.

  2. The group does their homework together, basing their answers off of these written class notes, by copy-and-pasting from their Final Notes on the left in a Split Screen to their answer sheet to hand in, after talking about it, in a group, with all of their heads together, on the right.  Then they save their homework in their homework folder on the Worksheet page.

  3. Test time is near.  They get a sheet from the teacher of what the test will be on.  Or the Final Exam.  Then they go to their saved information, in green folders on the worksheet page, such as their a) Class Notes b) Homework and c) Saved Class Materials, that they scanned in, and get any info that is needed to quickly and easily copy-and-paste over from any doc on the left of a Split Screen to the right, to their new Study Guide.  This can include pics of hand-drawn images, with any text.  This is saved, put in a folder, and then printed out, to study.  Studying this document intensely will prepare them for the test, so they can rest easy at night and be ready for the exam the next day, completely organized.

  4. Any question they have they can type into the Q and A section, and other groups are alerted to this by keyword, so they can answer, and prove their knowledge by teaching, which reinforces the knowledge long-term in their memory.  Answers can be made into films that incorporate the group, the images the group has drawn, and hand-drawn materials.  It will be seen by those seeking the answer, on the site, and rated.  If they want to, the author of the film can sell the film if it has been selected by a high rating.  Then they can earn money on the side by selling the answer on the site.  To anyone, to teach how they learned the particular answer.  This further accelerates the knowledge base of students on the site.  Which results in higher retention of material and greater accomplishments in school.

  5. Students can then go out in groups after class, or on the weekend, by putting up requests for where they want to go, and what they want to do, that each other can find on the Advanced Search page- pizza, golf, wine-tasting, hiking, running, or more.  When they meet and group up, in groups of two to six or more on the weekend, they learn valuable social skills that allow them to grow.  This helps enhance their studies.  And student experience.  Before a job.  And gives them a social network, to keep for all time.

  6. Students then "journal" about all of their experiences, and this solidifies their learning, and their minds' development through the school process, when they recount everything and bask in the glory of their lives.  They can share these long passages of new, great things they have done, in their networked groups, for anyone on the site, or write them just for themselves.
